Reclusiam
A Warhammer archive. Written by hand. Designed to teach.
From the Reclusiam
The galaxy burns. It has always burned. Ten thousand years of siege, heresy, xenos incursion, warp storm, civil war and betrayal. Through all of it, one institution has endured: the Reclusiam.
Every Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes maintains one. A sacred vault of memory. A chamber where the Chaplains keep the spiritual record of the Chapter's deeds. The names of the fallen. The accounts of battles won and lost. The doctrines that define a warrior culture stretching back to the Great Crusade.
The Reclusiam is not a library. It is not a museum. It is a living record, maintained not by servitors or scribes, but by warrior-priests who believe that to forget is to die a second death. That the knowledge of who we are and what we have endured is worth fighting for.
In an age when the Cicatrix Maledictum has torn the galaxy in half, when ancient enemies stir in forgotten tombs and new horrors claw through the veil between worlds, the work of preservation has never been more urgent.
So we keep the record.
